Engaging Students in Learning the Relations of Geographical Elements through GIS-Enabled Property Price Visualization

Understanding the relations of urban elements is important in secondary school geography. Based on price data 22,684 listed apartments, this article aims to enable students understand how geographical are related distribution apartment prices through spatial analysis using ArcGIS 10.8. The showed that their proximity government offices, schools, hospitals and main traffic roads. content field notes, interviews discussions suggests favor geographic information system (GIS)-based teaching feel geospatial technology useful visualize relationship other elements. Moreover, GIS-based not only improves students’ skill generating datasets raster maps, but also provides more room for enquiries compared conventional teaching.
